Why You Need Pre-Wedding Photography

What excites the couples the most is saying for better or worse, I do and having some cake at the reception. To make sure everything will be in order on that special day, couples usually plan their wedding months or even years in advance. Everything are all set for the big day: the caterers and the church are already booked, the gown and the tux both fit well, and the wedding entourage are already finalized. But before the big day happens, pre-wedding photography is done with the couple in order to have nice photographs for the invitations and to let the couple and the photographer get to know each other.

Couples nowadays have different phyappointments with their photographer for the pre-wedding photogra. Pre-wedding photography has different types for couples to choose. These include the save the date shoot, the pre-nuptial shoot and the test photo shoot at the wedding location. These further provide the couple the photos to use for the wedding day.

Just so they have pictures in their save the date video the couple will have a save the day photo shoot. This is more of asking the guests of the wedding to save a specific date. This further announces the couple’s plan on getting married, where and what time. This could also show the couple’s romantic stages of love before they decided to get married. These photo shoots usually show the fun and quirky side of the couple. Memorable places for the couple like where they first met or where they shared their first kiss could be used as location for this shoot.

Once the save the date photo was done the engagement or pre-nuptial photo shoot immediately follows. Couples have different preferences when it comes to shooting their save the date and engagement shoots: some would like to do it all in one time while the other would like to do it separately. The bride’s engagement ring will be shown in the pre-wedding photography shoot and it’s usually held in a romantic location. It can also be done at a memorable place for the couple like the save the day shoot. The photos from this shoot are usually used in the invitation and the various backdrops at the reception. The couple’s romantic side will manifest in here.

The last pre-wedding photography shoot isn’t really a formal shoot. Photographers like to have a basic knowledge of the location of the wedding before the actual event date. In order to know where the lights enter what lenses to use and what other types of equipment to bring the clients may be invited by the photographer to have a test shot at the venue. Few days before the actual wedding, these shoots are being done.

All these pre-wedding photography shoots provides interaction between the photographer and the clients making them more at ease and comfortable with each other. This will give the photographer an easier time to shoot on the day of the wedding itself.
